In April 2023, Damasec Mine Action Systems carried out a specialized demolition task in Älvdalen Municipality, Sweden. The assignment involved the opening and destruction of two old explosive storage chests containing obsolete explosives. These explosive chests posed a significant safety risk and required careful handling to ensure they were destroyed safely.
Damasec had four personnel on site to carry out the mission, which took two days to complete. The team used specialized equipment and followed strict safety protocols to manage and destroy the explosive chests.
