Search and clearance tasks in Sweden

Together with the staff from EnvyTech Damasec has performed more than 16 search and clearance tasks in Sweden. Customers include the Swedish Fortifications Agency, but also municipalities, consultancy firms, energy companies and owners and developers of areas formerly used as military shooting terrains.

The term UXO, unexploded explosive ordnance, is foreign to many and is often perceived as something not found in Sweden. But the fact is that many large areas spread across the country are former military shooting terrains where the contamination of unexploded explosive ordnances poses a risk to citizens and construction machines and works developing the land. This is because the military activities carried out in Sweden include areas located both centrally and in distances from the then civilization such as training and shooting terrains.

Damasec has many years of experience in clearance tasks from around the world. In Sweden, Damasec Mine Action works with EnvyTech, where our collaboration includes everything from permit applications to complete search and clearance tasks.
